Occult Fractures has to be one of the first disco punk albums I’ve ever heard and man, was it eye opening to a whole new genre. Incredibly energetic and inventive with layers of different styles of music to dissect in each track. All the fun of poppy drum and bass beats drawn out from the disco with brash punk vocals and distorted guitar riffs that are only smoothed out by the synth and horn section. Arthhur left no stone unturned when approaching Occult Fractures and the results are apparent in the product. Endlessly groovy that guarantees to pull you out onto the dancefloor and make you absolutely lose it.
