Some days you may only have time for a quick jam session, but that’s not a problem for Stonemongers. They will rock you and leave you awestruck with seventeen jam packed minutes of sludgey orchestral tunes. I wasn’t sure what I was in for jumping into a doom/orchestra EP but Russian Lumberjacks put any doubts I had to rest and showed me the true potential of their clever combination of grit and grooves. I’ll definitely be keeping this EP close to me for any instances where I need to let loose for a short moment.
