It’s always a stellar time checking out a debut album and Canyyn really blew it out of the water with their self-titled debut. Canyyn enlist a tried and true method of hard rocking, but with sweltering raw energy. It didn’t take long for me to let loose and rock around the room right alongside them. Hard hitting basslines, thunderous drum beats, plus searing solos and riffage all wrapped up in a bluesy swagger. Canyyn is a certified solid stoner-rock album that everyone should dive into as soon as possible.
