Crank this up and get ready for a thrashingly good time! Somnuri are a bit faster and heavier than I tend to gravitate towards, but I’d be lying if I said that Nefarious Wave wasn’t an absolute banger of an album from start to finish. Nefarious Wave is brutal incarnate in every sense; firing off blistering drum beats, destructive riffs, and viscous visceral screams, with the exception of the clean vocals. Keep this one around next time the urge for a hard rocking hit and you need to tune the world out.
