Solstice captures all the key components for a solid epic-doom album in Halcyon, showing just how well fantastical themes and hard rock blend together. Soaring vocals, hair raising solos, ravaging drum beats, and sickening chugs all had their parts to play in bludgeoning you to death. Good luck making it through these five tracks without a bangover.
