Now this is going to amp up the start of your week for sure. Toda História pela Frente lured me in with it’s light folk beats and acoustic guitar, however Kaatayra wastes no time in ramping up the pace and raining brutal black metal down on the listener. Suddenly you find yourself in the midst of a savage storm, being totally blown away by blast beats, shrieking solos, raspy screams, and unrelenting riffs. You will rarely be given time to rest before it starts again, so really soak those soft parts in before the next onslaught hits. Much heavier than I was expecting going into this, but very much a stellar listen from start to finish none the less.
