Beyond the Sea is a captivating EP that will not only resonate with anyone who enjoys a solid instrumental journey, it will also get stuck in your head until your next listen. Be careful though or you may find yourself in a viscous loop that way. I never listened to Planeta Plancton before, but after sitting through this epic solo musical experience by Pablo Bugani Stokja, their guitarist, I’d say it’s a safe bet that I will be soon. Pablo takes his first solo outing as an opportunity to weave a beautiful concept album about saving our oceans. Beyond the Sea has plenty of influence in sound from stoner-rock, but with the added grandeur of progressive fusion.
